Daniel R. Egan joins McCabe & Hogan, P.C.

McCabe & Hogan, P.C. is proud to announce that Daniel R. Egan has joined the firm as a partner. Dan is a seasoned workers’ compensation attorney with over 30 years of legal experience, dedicated to representing employers and their insurance carriers in workers compensation claims throughout the State of Illinois. Dan is a Martindale Hubbell AV rated attorney and rated by Super Lawyers.

Dan has litigated thousands of cases before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and in various Illinois Courts, up to and including in the Illinois Supreme Court. Reported cases include:

Dan is also a Medicare Set-Aside Certified Consultant, able to provide guidance in the necessity for Medicare Set-Asides, creation, submission and approval of same with CMS, as well as resolution of conditional payments.

Dan is admitted to practice law in Illinois and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Dan earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law in 1988. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Government, from the University of Notre Dame in 1985.
